What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:30 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM, at both houses.
Is self check-in available?
At Daymoon House Vanvitelli, yes: you can check in on your own, and before you arrive we send you everything you need to get into the house. At Daymoon House Merliani we still welcome guests in person.
How do I get to the Daymoon Houses?
Both houses are in Vomero, a short walk from the metro and funicular lines: Daymoon House Vanvitelli sits right next to the Vanvitelli metro stop, while Daymoon House Merliani is about an 8-minute walk away. From Capodichino Airport you can arrive by car, taxi, or our transfer service booked in advance (not available at night or on major public holidays).
Is there an airport transfer service?
Yes, we offer a transfer service from Capodichino Airport to both houses, booked in advance; it is not available at night or on major public holidays. Get in touch before your arrival and we'll confirm availability and cost based on your flight time.
Is parking available?
Paid private parking and metered on-street parking (blue lines) are available nearby; a reserved parking space is not included.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, small pets are welcome.
Is a cot or extra bed available for children?
A cot is available on request, subject to availability: please let us know when booking.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is included and available at both houses.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included, but it can be arranged for a fee at any point during your stay: the cost depends on what you choose. Otherwise, both houses have a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering.
Are the kitchens equipped for cooking?
Yes: both houses have a kitchen with pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and the basic utensils for cooking, so you can prepare your own meals.
Are toiletries and a hairdryer provided?
Yes: at both houses the bathroom has a courtesy kit with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap, along with a hairdryer. A first-aid kit is also available.
Is there a lift?
Yes, both buildings have a lift. Both houses are on the raised ground floor, so you don't need to use it to reach them; both, however, have a few steps at the entrance: five or six at Daymoon House Vanvitelli, and a few at the main door of Daymoon House Merliani.
Can I work remotely?
Yes, both houses have Wi-Fi; Daymoon House Merliani also has a dedicated smart-working nook.
Is there a washing machine or dishwasher?
Yes, both houses have a washing machine and a dishwasher.
Are the houses suitable for families with children?
Yes: both houses welcome families with children and a cot is available on request, subject to availability. The layout gives younger children privacy and quiet, and the kitchen makes it easy to warm milk or prepare baby food.
